Photography

Second of January: The second day in January bought me yet another lazy day full of lying on the sofa watching pointless television and taking my boyfriends car to the garage. However amongst the laziness I did escape to collect a few parcels containing a new Cath Kidston sewing box, a new lipstick (which I will be reviewing soon) and some eyelash curlers. Another parcel I had to collect was a new book which I could not wait to receive as I was eager to start sewing and creating some clothes. The book I bought was written by Wendy Ward called The Beginners Guide to Dressmaking. I've had a brief read and it gives simple designs which you can use to create simple items such as shift dresses and t-shirts then gives you tips on how to add more detail to the design. As soon as I get making I will let you all know!

First of January: As usual I spent the first of January pondering what New Years resolutions I should decide upon. Photography has always been a large part of my life, not only to remember special moments but also to document my memories. An idea therefore sprung to mind; why not post one photo on here a day. My blog seemed the perfect place to document this year as I see it almost as a diary. This year also will be a special one for me as I will be attending university in September but my never ending change in career path my lead to different paths. So to kick it off here's my photo from the first of January.

This was my breakfast cooked lovingly by my boyfriend to cure our hangovers from the night before (as well as his cracked head which he cut falling onto the banister HA)

Throughout my life I have had the privileges of being able to travel the world. A few years ago I went to Tanzania, Kenya and Sudan on a holiday and this was when I bought my first "proper" camera. I had always loved photography so this holiday became a photographic experiment in which I had the opportunity to photograph wild animals whilst on safari. I love some of these photographs so I hope you do also..

Last years christmas in Newyork. Amazing. Enough said..

At the beginning of September I embarked on a 2 week trip to Thailand with a volunteering company called Frontier. I spent the first week in a place called Singburi and the second in a small place in the mountains called Umphang. It was a truly amazing experience! Here are a few photographs from the trip..
