What's in my Suitcase..

As you all probably know by now I am off to Paris tomorrow for four days to visit Bronte. I promised I would share with you all what clothes I was taking along with me and theres no better way of doing that then creating a Polyvore Collection. I have also added some beauty essentials; my BB cream, Charlotte Tilbury mascara and Charlotte Tilbury lip gloss. Some of the items I've used aren't the exact ones that I have got, but are the most similar I could find.
I am loving capes at the moment and they pair perfectly with a turtle neck sweater or a cardigan. I will probably have to put loads of layers on as its meant to snow this weekend which is so exciting! I will update you all later with a brief 'Photo of the Day'.
Happy blogging!

Christmas Gifts
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Christmas time is the prefect time to review items especially gifts you have been longing for. One item I absolutely fell in love with was my necklace from Accessorise. Some jewels do look incredibly plastic when you look closely, but other then that its made to perfection. It can be paired with items such as knitted jumpers or dresses and can spruce up any outfit. I also recived some items I wanted from Charlotte Tilbury. I posted recently a make-up tutorial with Camilla Mackintosh and Charlotte Tilbury called The Bombshell. I purchased two products used in that tutorial- the lip lacquer and the mascara. I wear the lip lacquer over my
L'oreal Colour Riche Collection Privée Red Lipstick in Blake and the lacquer is absoulute perfection! It creates an incredible long lasting shine and I cant count the amount of compliments I have had becuase of it! The mascara on the other hand wasnt so great. In my eyes its just as great as some of the cheap mascaras I have bought from Superdrug.
I will review some products soon, but right now my bed is calling!
Happy blogging..

Winter Wear
Winter is my favourite season, simply because I have the excuse to buy as many knitted jumpers as I want! There's a few Winter Must Haves that I have to share with you all (of course including knitted jumpers) and I will be telling you guys exactly what I am wearing this winter.

Starting with the knitted turtle neck jumper. I fell in love with this jumper when I first saw it and if you've visited my Instagram page you might recognise it! Knitwear is just so versatile and doesn't make you compromise between looking good and keeping warm. Knitted jumpers can be worn with jeans or skirts and can easily be dressed up or down. To dress them up add a bold statement necklace (depending on the neckline; if its a high neckline DO NOT wear a necklace) and wear it with a skirt and some heels, as shown below. Turtle necks are a new found love of mine and they have come storming into the fashion world- everyone must own one!

I recently purchased some brown leather loafers from Asos for £35 and they didn't fail to impress. I cant stop wearing them! I like to pair them with my black skinny jeans from Topshop, shown above, and a black knitted jumper, not forgetting with my burgundy tartan scarf (an item I could never live without!) Loafers are so so easy to wear formally with a dress, skirt or jeans, but look just as great with my torn jeans and leather jacket simply because they add an extra touch of sophistication and style.

Ponchos and Coatigans are two more items that have caught my eye this season. The poncho shown above is a favourite of mine, found at the top of my Christmas list (and in Zara if you fancy a look). The two tones of grey attract the eye more than if it were just one and easily completes any outfit. A long sleeved top or cashmere jumper underneath would go perfectly as well as wearing a pair of black heeled ankle boots.

To finish this post off I want to show you one example of exactly what I am wearing this winter. Leather jackets are so easy to pair with absolutely everything.. and I mean everything! With a thick knitted jumper underneath you can keep nice and cosy, and the torn skinny jeans create an edgy look. To top it off I like to wear timberland boots. I actually wear fakes bought from a shop where I live, that recently shut down, but they were a bargain! I finish the look with my Michael Kors bag and tartan scarf.

I wanted to share these videos with you because the looks being created are perfect for any Christmas or New Year parties you have planned, and incase youre struggling for things to put on your christmas list, these might inspire you. I also love watching make up tutorials, so digging these out to share with you all was a delight...

Beauty Must Haves.. Ive been introduced to the amazing world of Polyvore and to put it to use I decided to show you my current Beauty Must Haves. Enjoy!

Pastel love and bargain buys
Pastel coloured jumpers, pastel colours tops, pastel coloured skirts, we cannot get enough of pastels! Everywhere we go at the moment there's hundreds of pastel coloured items and I don't know about you, but I love it! An item that especially catches my eye wherever I see it is the pastel blue duster coat. This style of coat is a favourite of mine at the moment simply because it goes great with a pair of jeans and a nice pair of heels or flats, depending on the occasion. Pastel coloured jewellery is a god sent. Not only does pastel coloured jewellery look elegant, but paired with a white or pastel coloured blouse can allow you to dress up for an occasion or easily dress down. It can add a spot of colour to a simple and plain dress without being too overpowering or a large and bold piece can be used as a focal point of an outfit.

You can ask any of my friends and they will all, without a doubt, tell you I'm obsessed with knitted jumpers and cardigans. They can be so easily worn with jeans or a skirt and are just so cosy! I've posted a photo of a knitted polo neck jumper I found in Zara which I adore. There's also a long length knitted cardigan, in grey from Newlook which will most definitely be my next purchase. Whilst on the topic of grey cardigans, grey is also a colour that's totally in right now. I've always worn slightly to much grey so I'm glad everyone will now join me.

I want to share with you a bargain buy of mine. I've been searching no end for a pair of black or brown heels that can be worn both casually or as part of a smart outfit and at last I found some! Not only do they look great they were at the ridiculously small price of £15! They look great with my favourite pair of black Topshop  jeans which are torn at the knees with a knitted jumper and black leather jacket. Plus they're super comfy!
